Women in Engineering Affinity Group, IEEE Bangladesh Section and IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES), Women in Power jointly organized an international webinar at 4 P.M BDT on the 24th of July, 2020. Over 30 participants of 3 countries (Bangladesh, India, and Australia) and 10 organizations attended the hour and a half long session moderated by Irtiza Haque, Treasurer, WIE AG, BDS and Lead Engineer, IT at Grameenphone Ltd.

The speakers of this session were Dr. Negareh Ghasemi, Lecturer, School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering at University of Queensland, Australia also the WIE chair at University of Queensland, Dr.Soumi Dutta, Associate Professor, Institute of Engineering and Management, Kolkata, Sudeshna Choudhury, Sudeshna has a accountAnalytics and Insights Business Partner, Utilities at Tata Consultancy Services. Lead of Women in data chapter, Kolkata also WIE Vice Chair, IEEE Kolkata Section and Dr. Celia Shahnaz, Professor at department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at BUET and Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section as well as advisor and founder of WIE AG, BDS.
