IEEE Bangladesh Section (IEEE BDS) and IEEE Women in Engineering Affinity Group IEEE Bangladesh Section (WIE AG BDS) along with Robotics and Automation Society Chapter of IEEE IUB Student Branch hosted a seminar of titled “Control of Networked Multirobot Systems” on 19th November 2019, at IUB, Dhaka.

The event was preceded by the inauguration of IEEE IUB Robotics and Automation Society Student Branch Chapter. This was the first event of the newly formed student organization. Dr. Lamia Iftekhar, the Vice-Chair (Technical) of Women in Engineering Affinity Group IEEE Bangladesh Section was the speaker of the seminar. Dr. Lamia presented an introduction of networked multi robot systems focusing on the control and decision-making aspects. In her talk, the resources in IEEE that can enable the students to explore multi robot systems research were also highlighted. The talk was followed by a fun quiz. Awards were then handed out to the quiz winners, with the help of Mr. Nasfikur Rahman, Lecturer, IUB and Faculty Advisor of IUB RAS SBC. The event was concluded with the presentation of a token of appreciation to the speaker by Dr. MD. Abdur Razzak, Associate Professor, IUB.
