Workshop on Graphics Designing Organized by IEEE East West University Student Branch, IEEE Banglades

On 16th July 2018, IEEE East West University Student Branch, IEEE Bangladesh Section WIE Affinity Group and IEEE computer society East West University Student Branch chapter jointly organized a workshop on ‘Graphics Designing’. The workshop was conducted by Miss Rubia Siddiqua, Graphics Designer, WIE Affinity Group, IEEE Bangladesh Section; Engineer, Project Implementation, DBL Group, Bangladesh at 4.50pm.

30 enthusiastic students participated from various backgrounds with little to no experience in Graphic Designing.

At first, the students were introduced to the basic elements and different tools (selection tools, drawing tools, reshaping tools, painting tools) of Adobe Illustrator CC 2017. Later they were shown how to use them in drawing different shapes (rectangle, polygon, circle, half-circle, star) and free hand objects. Miss Rubia Siddiqua also answered and explained various questions on anchor points and vectors. Finally, she showed some sample designs and artworks and demonstrated on adjusting thresholds and fills and strokes.

The instructor was later recognized for her efforts and time by Ms. Samantha Lubaba Noor, Senior Lecturer, East West University and Branch Counselor of EWU SB WIE AG with a token of appreciation.
