“Workshop on PCB designing using Proteus” ORGANIZED BY IEEE EWU SB and WIE AG, IEEE BDS

On 15th May 2018, IEEE EWU student branch & IEEE WIE BDS jointly organized a Workshop on ‘PCB Design using Proteus’ which was conducted by Baishakhi Biswas, Lecturer, 'BUET' and Shoilie Chakma, Lecturer, 'BUET' at 3.00pm. About 30 students participated the workshop which was held on VLSI Lab, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, EAST WEST UNIVERSITY, Aftabnagar, Dhaka.

Getting the schematic from the computer screen or breadboard to Printed Circuit Board (PCB) is the most important part of manufacturing electronic devices, robotics & embedded systems. Moving to a PCB has a wide range of advantages. It makes the final design robust, durable, dependable and replicable. That’s why the instructors started from the scratch of PCB designing using Proteus software.

It was a very enthusiastic workshop for all students. The workshop was mainly for final year students. The eagerness to learn more and the patience that they showed were motivating. This workshop was very informative & helpful for all students & they wish this workshop will help them in future. Last but not the least, a cheer up for the valiant leadership and dedication of our volunteers without which BUET WIE Student Branch Affinity Group is always incomplete.
