WIE AG, IEEE BDS AGM 2017 and EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE 2018

The Annual General Meeting (AGM) of 2017 WIE Affinity Group, IEEE Bangladesh Section was held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Room # 634 at ECE building, BUET. It was followed by formation of Executive Committee with distribution of responsibilities among excom members. Dr. Celia Shahnaz, Chair of IEEE Bangladesh Section led the meeting. Anamika Bhakta, Vice President of Robi Axiata Limited, was elected as the new Chair of WIE AG, IEEE BDS Executive Committee (2018).

The meeting started with presentation of Annual Activities Reports of 2017 by Chair of Executive Committee (2017) Samantha Lubaba Noor. Some yearly activities plans were discussed here with emphasis on Industry and Academia collaboration. The committee members also shared their views about upcoming events, workshop and industrial tour. Discussions and brainstorming among them made the meeting effective. Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section talked about the strength of each and every executive member mentioning their responsibilities. At the end, there was a group photo session where Chair, Vice-Chair, Secretary, Treasurer and recently elected Executive members of WIE, Affinity Group Bangladesh Section were present.
