Workshop on “Graphics Designing” organized by IEEE East West University SB & WIE AG, IEEE BDS

IEEE EWU student branch & WIE AG, IEEE BDS organized a workshop on “Graphics Designing” on 10 th June 2017 at ICS Computer lab East West University. It was conducted by Rubia Siddiqua, Sr. Executive, Supply Chain, Sanofi Bangladesh Ltd. She is also working as a graphics designer of WIE Affinity Group, IEEE Bangladesh Section. 12 IEEE members and 22 non-IEEE members were present at the workshop.

Ms.Rubia Siddique firstly briefed on how to use the software Adobe illustrator cc 2017. Then she discussed about the important tools of this software and how to use them properly. She elucidated how to draw and edit different shapes as well as how to draw free hand objects using Adobe Illustrator. In the end, she gave an overview on how to make logos which are smarter and innovative. The participants made a specific logo during the workshop with her instructions.

In the final sessions students got the chance to interact with the conductor through questions and expressing their thoughts. The questions prove that they have been very much influenced through our conductor’s words and experiences. The conductor was provided with a token of appreciation and the participants were given certificates to encourage them to take part in IEEE activities.
