Workshop on PCB Design using Proteus

A workshop on PCB Design was organized by WIE Affinity Group, IEEE Bangladesh Section and IEEE WIE Affinity Group RUET Student Branch at Rajshahi University of Engineering &Technology.

The workshop was conducted by Shoilie Chakma, Lecturer, Department of EEE, BUET; Treasurer, WIE, IEEE Bangladesh Section and Irtiza Haque, System Engineer, Service Operation, Grameenphone; Professional Activities Coordinator , WIE, IEEE Bangladesh Section.At the beginning, the importance and goal of this workshop was discussed briefly. The participants were taught how to draw and simulate circuits using Proteus and then they learned how to draw a PCB design using it. Both the Instructors and the participants enjoyed the full workshop.

At the end of workshop, Tasnim Binte Shawkat, Lecturer, Dept. of ECE, RUET gave a short presentation on WIE, IEEE BDS and its activities. At closing ceremony, Professor Dr. S.M.Abdur Razzak, on behalf of IEEE RUET WIE Student Branch Affinity Group, presented each instructor a crest as a token of appreciation. 40 students including IEEE and non IEEE members participated at the workshop. Participants were provided certificates at the end of the workshop for their participation.
