On September 22, 2016, a workshop on PCB Designing and Prototyping was organized by IEEE BUET Student Branch in collaboration with WIE Affinity Group, IEEE BUET Student Branch and WIE AG, IEEE BDS at ECE Building, BUET. The workshop was conducted by Shuvangkar Chandra Das, Chairperson of IEEE BUET Student Branch, and Rakibul Islam Chowdhury, Vice-Chairperson of IEEE BUET Student Branch.

This was the biggest workshop conducted for both IEEE BUET SB and WIE with a record number of 208 participants. The participants were undergraduate students from various universities and many alumni members of BUET.

The workshop was conducted in three sessions in which the participants learnt about the basics of PCB design and then the application of the theory on a design project.

The workshop was concluded by some inspiring words from the respected faculty members of BUET, EEE Department- Arnab Bhattacharjee and Asir Intisar Khan. Both the instructors and the participants enjoyed such motivating workshop. The knowledge and skills acquired from the workshop will help the participants in future projects involving electronic devices and embedded systems.
