WIE Affinity Group IEEE Bangladesh Section Organized Call for Idea Competition: "Use of Bangla

To celebrate International Mother Language Day (21st February), Women in Engineering, IEEE Bangladesh Section calls for the Idea Competition on "Use of Bangla Language for Engineering and Technology. The online event was aimed for boosting and promoting ideas by using mother tongue among young engineering students.

Idea write up were limited to 500 words and the deadline for submission was on 17th March 2016. The call for idea was circulated through the Facebook page of Women in Engineering, IEEE Bangladesh Section from 20 days before the deadline. Notice of the competition was also circulated to the engineering universities of Dhaka city and was monitored by the WIE representative personnel of each university. Ideas were judged by the lecturers of BRAC University and Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology.

First, Second and Third positions were selected based on the most applicability of the idea.
