IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit 2015
IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit 2015 held at Hotel Green Park, Chennai, India on 10-12 September’ 2015 was a huge success. It was the first ever leadership summit in Region 10. Participation from WIE, IEEE Bangladesh Section was also remarkable. Networking and familiarization of WIE WIE BDS with other participants was an important target of this event.
One of the invited speakers was Professor Khaleda Ekram, Vice-Chancellor of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. She gave her professional speech “Embracing Knowledge, Overcoming Barriers” on women empowerment, work experience as a female architecture and her success to becoming the 1st female vice chancellor of BUET.
Professor Dr. Celia Shahnaz, WIE BD Chair 2015 gave a professional as well as technical Talk on “LATEX Learning: A step towards fostering skill for career advancement” to enhance research writing. She was also involved in the volunteering team of IEEE WIE International Leadership Summit 2015.
Delegate Mohasinina Binte Kamal, Industry Coordinator, WIE, IEEE BDS and Professor Dr. Shaikh Anowarul Fattah, Chair, IEEE Bangladesh Section were presented from Bangladesh and were involved in the publicity of IEEE WIECON-ECE 2015.
