2nd Workshop on Introduction to MATLAB

IEEE Student Branch of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) in association with WIE Affinity group, IEEE Bangladesh Section organized the 2nd workshop on MATLAB at VLSI Lab, Dept. of EEE, AUST on July 02, 2015.
The workshop was inaugurated with the speech of Dr. Celia Shahnaz, Chair, WIE Affinity Group, IEEE Bangladesh Section and after her speech, IEEE student branch counselor of AUST, Mr. Masoodur Rahman Khan gave very inspiring speech on the importance of this workshop.
The workshop was divided into two parts and was conducted by two instructors named Kazi Khurshidi Haque Dia from AUST and Mohasina Binte Kamal from Energypac Engineering Ltd. The first part was about basic computation of MATLAB and introduction of Graphical User Interface (GUI) using MATLAB and some its applications. This session was conducted by Kazi Khurshidi Haque Dia. The Second phase was on applications of MATLAB in digital signal processing which was conducted by Mohasina Binte Kamal.
About 35 undergraduate students (17 IEEE members, 18 non IEEE members) from Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST) attended the workshop and learnt about MATLAB and its applications. At the end of the workshop, each participant received a certificate.
